Repairing Powercrete

 Powercrete Repairs

Every coating will have need of a repair at some point or another.  Pipe coatings can often be damaged during transit, while getting pipe into position, during the welding process, etc.  I've even seen coating INTENTIONALLY damaged on job sites!  The world is a wild place!

So you're here because you have some damaged Powercrete (I assume).  This could be:  Powercrete DD, Powercrete J, Powercrete R65/F1 or Powercrete R95.  I'm offering solutions to repair any of those coating based on the parameters below.

I do believe telephone discussions are always the best avenue.  Please feel free to reach out directly if you'd like:  Steve Simpson - 936/321-3333 - steve@jsicoatings.com

For Minor Damage:

When repairing minor damage on a pipeline coating, which can be anything from pinholes to stamp sized damage to gouges (which occurred before the epoxy has cured) you are likely looking at using:

Powercrete R65 50 ml Cartridge Cases - these cases consist of 25 of the 50ml repair cartridges; 50 static mixing tips and 1 dispenser gun.  This material can be used to repair ANY of the Powercrete products.

For Moderate and Severe Damage:

For more significant damage, mixing and applying a "Powercrete Kit" is going to be the better solution.  Depending on the size of the damaged area and the coating thickness required in the coating specification, finding the proper kit size to use as a repair is relatively simple.  As examples, we are able to supply:
  • 1# Kits
  • 2# Kits
  • 3# Kits
  • 4# Kits
  • 10# Kits
  • Or just about any size needed
This will give your crews the repair materials that they need without bringing with it significant waste or down time.
