For decades now WPCT has been the backbone of the Covalence (formerly Raychem) heat shrink sleeve product line. The first "wrap around" product that was introduced to the market continues to be a go to corrosion prevention solution in the world of coated pipe for both onshore and offshore pipelines.
Available for any pipe size larger than 2.375" (outside diameter), WPCT is incredibly versatile and relatively easy to install. Sold in 11", 17", 24", 34" or custom widths; WPCT can be used in any situation where the operating temperature of the pipeline will be below 140F. WPCT would not be recommended for use on lines that will be involved with road bores or directional drilling applications unless the WPCT shrink sleeve is installed underneath half shells or PU.

WPCT can be installed on pipe that has been prepared with a wire brush; so don't necessarily require all of the sand blasting that many coatings do.
